On behalf of the President, Faculty, and Students of Stanford University, I am happy to welcome you to the campus and to invite you to make use of our Library and of our recreational facilities. During your visit to Stanford, it is our hope that you will enjoy the use of these services wherever possible. Our Library and our physical recreation facilities, including the swimming pools and the golf course, will be open to you. The attached identification card will introduce you at the various facilities, and will entitle you to many of the same privileges normally available to regular Stanford students. The accompanying letter enumer- ates the student privileges that we are happy to extend to you on a special basis, and states the appropriate regulations governing the use of these facilities.
